Gary Sears Motors offers vehicles at wholesale prices to our customers whether they are individual buyers or car dealerships. Most of our vehicles need minor repairs, need to be serviced, & have their oil changed after they are purchased from us. We do not thoroughly inspected each vehicle we sale. We predominantly purchase our vehicles from local new car dealerships.
We are not a buy-here pay-here dealership. Nor do we, at this time, offer any type of on-the-lot financing. We will happily work with a loan officer from a lending institution of your choice should you need financing. We have found that it benefits our customers to deal directly with the bank or lending institution of their choice. It saves you money. There are no hidden fees at the end of the sale (i.e. document fees, etc.) We don't receive "kick-backs," from lending institutions even if we refer you to one here locally. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our inventory changes frequently.
Customers just need a proof of insurance & a drivers license when they purchase vehicles from us. If you are registering the vehicle in Kentucky you are required to pay 6% sales tax on the purchase price, $15 to register the vehicle, and $21 for a new decal (should the tag be expired or expiring within 30 days). Customers purchasing vehicles to be licensed in another state aren't required to pay sales tax to Kentucky, nor transfer or licensing fees. However, certain states do require us to collect sales tax on their behalf (Indiana for example), call and we will gladly explain the process to you.
