Kentucky Residents must pay 6% state sales tax (on purchase price), a $15 Registration Fee, and a $21 Licensing fee (if applicable) at the point of sale. Kentucky state law requires us to ensure each buyer is insured (we will ask for a proof of insurance). Ohio & Tennessee Residents are required to hand carry titles and pay taxes and transfer upon Inspection & Registration. These two states also have laws that won't allow the registration of vehicles that have "RED" Rebuilt Titles. HOWEVER, vehicles with "NORMAL" rebuilt titles can be registered in both states.
